GENERAL INFORMATION
Officials
Each year senior members have the opportunity to sit ASA officials exams. By gaining these qualifications members can contribute to the quality of the Club's own events and, if they so desire, to the running of external galas and championships. At present the club has a number of qualified officials including time keepers, starters and judges. If you are interested in becoming an official please see the club secretary.
Social Events
Through its social sub-committee, the club organises a number of events designed to bring the membership together. Some of these events are also invaluable sources of additional fund-raising. Anyone wishing to help with the social side of the Club should contact the Social Secretary.
Finances
The club is totally self-supporting. The bulk of the Club's income comes from membership subscriptions and swimming fees. We have no help at present from outside sources but are actively looking for sponsorship. If anyone has any ideas, please see a member of the Committee.
