We have qualified teachers and professional coaches who train swimmers up to national standard. The achievements of all swimmers, however small, is celebrated, from the first tentative strokes of the youngest swimmers to the county and national qualifying times of the squad swimmers, so watch our club notice board for all the latest news!
Our lessons concentrate on teaching water confidence, and the skills needed to achieve ASA awards under the ASA National Teaching Plan. Such achievements help to develop children's self-confidence as well as teaching them important safety skills. Our qualified coaches and teachers oversee the lessons and monitor children's progress through training sessions; all other teachers, committee members and those who help to run the club are volunteers. We are all eager to help you; so if you have any query regarding your child's lesson or training, please ask at the enquiries desk and our membership secretaries will do their best to help you. The club provides many opportunities for the children to meet new friends and have fun; both during their lessons and at the social functions that are an integral part of the club.
So, whether you want to learn to swim, to improve your existing skills, meet new friends, have fun, improve your fitness or even have ambitions to swim for your country, this is the place for you!
